This AZURA Pilot Prep LC 100 HPG is a complete binary high pressure gradient (HPG) HPLC system, optimized for both analytical and preparative scale liquid chromatography. It is designed and optimized for analytical analysis and purification of milligram to gram samples. Switching between the two scales is as easy as pressing a button, making scale-up easier than ever. The system proposal consists of two preparative HPLC pumps, a column thermostat, an autosampler, UV/VIS detector units for the analytical and preparative flow path, a freely customizable combination module and a fraction collection valve.
In this combined system you can perform your seperations with up to 400 bar and up to 100 ml/min. It is possible to increase the maximum flowrate up to 250 ml/min with an max pressure of 200 bar by easily changing the pump heads.
The integrated automatic recognition of the pump head with RFID technology allows fast adaptions of the pump for various applications. The HPG setup enables the precise formation of binary gradients. Besides, ternary and quaternary gradients are accessible by integration of additional preparative pumps.
The AZURA CT 2.1 column thermostat provides constant temperatures to enable reproducible results.
The Autosampler 3950 can inject from up to 768 positions when equipped with microtiter plates (either high or low formats) or from up to 96 standard 2 ml sample vials. Three different injection modes are supported; “full loop filling” (highest precision and reproducibility), “partial loop filling” (variable volumes, e.g. for dilution series) and “µl pickup” (loss-free injection of extremely small sample volumes), allowing the user to optimize sample usage.
The AZURA UVD 2.1L represents a UV/VIS detector with a variable single wavelength for the detection of fast eluting peaks. This detector unit is used for the analytical flow path.
The AZURA ScaleUp System includes the multifunctional AZURA ASM 2.1L, which contains a UVD 2.1S detector with a single variable wavelength (detector for preparative flow path) plus two switching valves for automatic injection and flow path selection.
For fraction collecting you can choose between a simple mulitpostion valve or the much more comfortable Fraction collector Foxy®, withc comes along with various rack types.
The system comes with an eluent tray for safe storage of up to 6 bottles. The column can be attached anywhere to the system via magnetic clip. A leak sensor and the capillary guidance as well as the optional control unit with touch screen facilitate the safe and user friendly usage.
